PROJECTS

The research and development process in the field of Earth Resources Management is carried out through basic and applied research projects. The projects are oriented towards the pedagogical, scientific and application areas. We implement domestic and foreign projects. The orientation of the projects is focused on the strategy of my Scientific School, which is focused on the use of management tools, approaches, methods, techniques of various forms of management with the aim of optimizing corporate resources - production factors.

(2000) diploma thesis in the field of "21-05-9 Management of processes of extraction and processing of raw materials", in the study program "Engineering Management" with the topic of the diploma thesis: "Analysis of factors determining the economic efficiency of the company", supervisor: prof. Ing. Vadimir Vodzinsky, CSc. With this diploma thesis, I focused my direction on business, strategic and performance management, business economics, accounting, basics of statistics.

(2003) dissertation in the scientific field "21-05-9 Management of processes of acquisition and processing of raw materials", on the topic of the doctoral dissertation: "Economics of environmentally oriented quality - theoretical possibilities and their applications in production practice", with the supervisor doc. Ing. Ľubica Floreková, CSc. The scientific focus has expanded to include the areas of environmental management, quality management, project management, innovation management, tax management and crisis management within the framework of solving scientific projects and conducting new subjects in the educational process.  

(2008) habilitation thesis in the field of 5.2.38 "Acquisition and processing of earth resources" on the topic of the habilitation thesis: Application of modern trends in cost management in manufacturing enterprises", where I applied my knowledge from my doctoral studies and the orientation of my scientific school focused on various forms of management with the aim of optimizing economic variables and minimizing company costs and using digitalization in the field of economic and financial analyses through controlling. The habilitation thesis contained innovative management tools that began to be applied in business practice in Slovakia.

(2021) inaugural monograph in the field of "acquisition and processing of natural resources" on the topic: "Synergy of forms of management in industrial enterprises and their impact on performance", where I processed knowledge from individual areas of management in terms of optimizing corporate resources. This scientific monograph is focused on the use of management tools, approaches, methods and techniques that, in synergy with various forms of management, improve the economic indicators of industrial enterprises and increase the performance of value-added enterprises.

(2010-2016) doctoral theses in the position of a supervisor in the field 5.2.38 Acquisition and processing of earth resources": (1) Ing. Š. Čepová: LCA analysis of the product life cycle as a tool for innovation potential, increasing added value, quality and environmental parameters of the product. (2) Ing. M. Daubner: Analysis of possible ways of measuring the performance of industrial enterprises. (3) Ing. T. Pavlik: Cost management as a tool for increasing the efficiency of business activities. The doctoral theses were oriented towards innovative approaches in environmental management, quality management, innovation management, performance management, and cost management.
