I work as an associate professor in the Department of Earth Resources Management at the Institute of Earth Resources, Faculty of BERG, Technical University in Kosice. 

Specialization: I deal with the field of accounting (with a focus on financial, managerial, tax, environmental, cost accounting), the field of business economics - especially the field of using operational analysis tools in a company, optimization of inventory, service, renewal, economic analysis, the field of economic statistics, quality management systems, environmental management systems and the field of management with an orientation to general management, strategic management, quality management, project management, cost management, financial management, personnel management, innovation management, crisis management.

Education: As part of the pedagogical process, I have so far led semester projects for bachelor's and engineering studies - (288) semester projects, (136) diploma thesis, (133) bachelor thesis, (3) doctoral thesis. 

Research area: I focus on optimizing costs in business processes by using management tools in the context of evaluating their performance, quality management tools in synergy of various type of management - innovation, strategic, project, personal, process, financial, cost, tax, crises, environmental management and quality management. In connection with my professional focus and work on scientific and research projects, I participate in scientific and professional conferences, where I present the results of my scientific and research activities. At the same time, I am a supervisor of doctoral students in the study field of Economics of Earth Resources, Logistics.

Projects: Within the implemented projects, I am in the position of responsible project leader, project representative, project researcher. I have collaborated on scientific projects financed from state sources: VEGA (14), KEGA (4), APVV (2), OTHER (4), and projects financed from the KEGA faculty's own resources (7).

Publications: I publish monographs, university textbooks, scripts, anthologies, contributions in professional and scientific, domestic and foreign journals with the number of published works (450).

Membership: I am a member of professional organizations - member of the Slovak Chamber of Certified Accountants, member of the Slovak Society for Quality, member of the Slovak Academy of Management, member of the Slovak Institute of Project Management, member of the BPUG working group - project management. Member of the scientific board of the ECOLETRA.COM magazine, member of the scientific board of the MANEKO magazine, member of the editorial board of the Q magazine Czech Republic.
