The award "the best contribution in quality area" K. Teplická, E. Helmanovská,
Z. Szalay, with the topic of the paper: "Improving the quality of orders by implementing process management tools". The paper was published in the professional journal Q-magazine, Czech Republic. The prize was awarded by Ing. Katarína Surmíková Tatranská, President of the Office for Standardization, Metrology and Testing of the Slovak Republic in Bratislava.

(2022) SOFTWARE
COST CONTROLLING

In cooperation with the FEI faculty - Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics of the Technical University of Košice - a software application was created: "Cost Controlling" to support the pedagogical process in the field of economic subjects. The author of the software application was A. Holotňák - bachelor's thesis, application upgrade F. Katušin - diploma thesis, supervisor - Ing. S. Chodarev, PhD.
License Agreement 180/190120/2022- LZ: Software application - usable within the pedagogical process at the faculties of the Technical University of Košice and other cooperating universities.

(2021) PATENT

In 2021, utility model No. PUV 50064-2021 was adopted with the title: "Modified beam holder of a concentrator solar heater of segmented heat accumulators". This utility model was created by a team consisting of: prof. R. Rybár, doc. M. Beer, doc. K. Teplická, Ing. J. Rybárová at the Institute of Earth Resources of the Faculty of Engineering and Geosciences of the Technical University of Košice.

(2021) AUTHOR AWARD

In 2021, a scientific contribution from the field of quality management entitled "Design of workplace Layout using the 5S method in the area of ​​quality management system" by K. Teplická, S. Hurná, A. Seňová was placed on the cover of the foreign journal "Quality - Accesss to Success" published by Calitatea Publishing House - Bucharest, Romania.

(2020) AWARD DOCTORAL STUDENT

Successfully completed doctoral student Ing. Tomáš Pavlik, PhD. became the head of the project department of the FBERG faculty of the Technical University of Košice and the regional center EIT RawMaterials Hub – Regional Center Košice. 
The EIT Centre's main objective is to improve sustainable growth and competitiveness in Europe by improving the innovation capacity of EU Member States.

(2019) AWARD PROJECT

The successfully completed KEGA project was evaluated as “EXCELLENT”. Project title: Innovative didactic methods in the pedagogical process at universities and their importance for increasing the pedagogical mastery of teachers and developing students’ competencies. The project was implemented in cooperation with 6 faculties of the Technical University of Košice. Innovative educational methods were implemented in the pedagogical process.

(2019) ENCYCLOPEDIA PERSONALITIES

In 2019, I was approached by the Britishpedia London publishing house to prepare a CV for the Encyclopedia of Personalities of the Czech and Slovak Republics in the category of scientists, researchers, and university teachers. The CV was prepared through personal interviews with the encyclopedia editors from the Britishpedia London publishing house.

(2018) AUTHOR AWARD

In 2018, I was approached by the editor of the professional publication Taxes and Taxation Trends - Jolanta Iwin - Garzynska, University of Szczecin, Poland, to process the professional issue - a chapter entitled: "TAXES AND THEIR IMPACT ON THE BUSINESS SECTOR IN SLOVAKIA." The professional publication presents an open access approach in the publishing house IntechOpen, LONDON. 

(2017) INVITED LECTURE

In 2017, I was invited as a guest to present a professional paper at the MEM2017 conference in Zvolen at the Technical University, Faculty of Woodworking. The paper was part of the output of the scientific project: VEGA No. 1/0741/16 "Controlling innovations of industrial enterprises for maintaining and improving their competitiveness".

(2016) PROJECT „JA FIRMA“
World of business
and economical education

In the period 2016-2019, I implemented the student project "Ja Firma" through the non-profit organization JA SLOVENSKO. The student project was focused on the creation of entrepreneurial entities - companies. The entire project took place in 5 steps: Motivation and ideas, Organization, Founding a company, Ready to do business, Liquidation of the company and other opportunities. As part of the project, an exhibition of products associated with sales was held, we were visited by TV Košice, students from Poprad.

Department Library Information System

In the period 2008 -2011 we prepared and managed the departmental library information system created by the team: Ing. P. Virdzek, Ing. K. Teplická. This application served as a database of information about semester projects, students' bachelor's theses, students' diploma theses, doctoral dissertations.

(2010) AWARD STUDENT

Award for the best diploma thesis with the topic: Evaluation of quality costs in a company. Author of the diploma thesis: Ing. Michaela Brezovská, supervisor: doc. Ing. K. Teplická, PhD. The awards were presented by the Slovak Society for Quality as part of the competition “Award for the best thesis in the field of quality management 2010″.
